Handling & Safety

Surface Preparation:

 * Remove all dirt, barnacles, flaking paint, and algae from the substrate.

 * Wipe the area with a clean cloth to remove any surface film.

 * Abrade the surface if possible to enhance adhesion.

 * Apply the putty as soon as possible after preparation to prevent recontamination.

Mixing Instructions:

 * Combine equal volumes of resin and hardener.

 * Mix thoroughly until a uniform, streak-free consistency is achieved.

 * For larger quantities, use a T-shaped mixing paddle or a propeller-type mixer on an electric drill.

Application:

 * Apply at temperatures between 40°F and 90°F (4°C to 32°C).

 * Spread the mixed material over the repair area, pressing firmly to ensure maximum surface contact and avoid air entrapment.

 * For bridging large gaps or holes, use fiberglass, sheet metal, or wire mesh.

Safety Precautions:

 * Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and eye protection.

 * Ensure adequate ventilation during application.

 * Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
