Handling & Safety

 Surface Preparation:

 * Clean the surface thoroughly to remove oil, grease, and dirt.

 * Grit blast or abrade the surface to create a profile for better adhesion.

 * For metals exposed to saltwater, perform a chloride contamination test to ensure proper cleaning.

 Mixing Instructions:

 * Combine resin and hardener according to the specified mix ratio.

 * Mix thoroughly until a uniform, streak-free consistency is achieved.

 Application:

 * Apply the mixed putty to the prepared surface, pressing firmly to ensure maximum contact.

 * For large gaps or holes, use fiberglass, sheet metal, or wire mesh as reinforcement.

 Curing:

 * Allow the putty to cure for 16 hours at room temperature before machining or painting.

Safety Precautions:

 * Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and eye protection.

 * Ensure adequate ventilation during application.

 * Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
