Devcon® Stainless Steel Putty (ST) 10270
Devcon® Stainless Steel Putty (ST) 10270 is a stainless steel-filled epoxy putty designed for repairing, rebuilding, and patching stainless steel equipment and surfaces. It is particularly suitable for use in food processing environments, as it is NSF certified for potable water applications and acceptable for use in meat and poultry plants.

Chemical resistance : Resistant to a variety of chemicals, including ammonia, cutting oils, gasoline, and saltwater.

Applications
Repairing cracks and dents in stainless steel machinery or castings
Rebuilding dairy equipment and stainless steel holding tanks
Patching and repairing food processing equipment
Rebuilding worn shafts, keyways, and pump housings
Handling & Safety
Surface preparation : Clean and roughen the surface before application to ensure optimal adhesion.
Application : Apply the mixed putty to the prepared surface using a putty knife or similar tool.
Curing : Allow to cure at room temperature. For maximum physical properties, a post-cure at 93°C (200°F) for 4 hours is recommended.
Storage : Store at room temperature (21°C) in a dry place. Shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
