DOWSIL™ 736 Heat Resistant Sealant is a high-temperature, one-part silicone sealant specifically formulated to withstand extreme heat exposure. It is commonly used in industrial, automotive, and appliance applications where elevated temperatures are a regular factor.
Key Features
High heat resistance:
* Withstands continuous temperatures up to 260°C (500°F)
* Resists short-term exposure up to 315°C (600°F)
One-part RTV silicone : Cures at room temperature with moisture in the air
Non-slump paste : Stays in place on vertical or overhead surfaces
Excellent adhesion : Bonds to metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics
UL 94 HB flame rating
Flexible and durable after curing
Red oxide color : Visibly identifies high-temp applications
