Sikaflex®-227

Sikaflex®-227 is a one-component polyurethane sealant that cures via atmospheric moisture to form a durable, elastic bond. It’s engineered for use in automotive body sealing, but is highly versatile across diverse substrates—offering fast skinning, excellent adhesion, low odour, and paintable finish.

Key Features

Fast skin formation and minimal sag, enabling overhead application.

Paintable and sandable, with weather and age resistance.

Silicone-free and low odor, ideal for sensitive environments.

Strong adhesion to a wide variety of materials—metals, primers, painted plastics, ceramics—often without primer.

Provides elastic sealing with excellent cut and tear resistance, making it ideal for expanding and contracting joints.
