3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP105
The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP105 is a fast-setting, highly flexible, two-part epoxy adhesive that cures to a clear finish. Its unique combination of rapid curing and flexibility makes it ideal for bonding dissimilar materials, especially in applications where thermal expansion or vibration is a concern.
Key Features
Fast Setting: Achieves handling strength in approximately 20 minutes at room temperature.
Flexible When Cured: Accommodates movement and thermal expansion between bonded substrates.
Clear Appearance: Maintains a clear, colorless bond line, making it suitable for applications where aesthetics are important.
1:1 Mix Ratio: Simplifies mixing and ensures consistent adhesive performance.
High Peel Strength: Provides durable bonds that resist peeling forces.

Handling & Safety
Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. For optimal bond strength, remove paint, oxide films, oils, dust, mold release agents, and other surface contaminants.
Mixing: Combine equal parts by volume of Part A and Part B. Mix thoroughly until a uniform clear color is achieved.
Application: Apply the mixed adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded. Join the parts together within the work life of the adhesive.
Curing: Allow the bonded assembly to cure at room temperature. Handling strength is typically achieved in 20 minutes, with full cure in 48 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 60–80°F (15–27°C). Rotate stock on a first-in, first-out basis.
