3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 9448HK
Overview
3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 9448HKW features a medium firm acrylic adhesive on a tissue carrier for a durable bond and easy, efficient handling and conversion. The acrylate adhesive on this 0.15 mm double sided tape is tested for substrates including PE and stainless steel. The carrier can provide dimensional stability to foams and, with the PCK liner, makes for easy die cutting and laminating.
Applications
3M 9448HK is used where a strong, thin, permanent bond is needed:
- Attaching foam, rubber, and elastomer parts to plastic or metal surfaces.
- Nameplate mounting and label bonding.
- Panel assembly and general industrial bonding.
- Electronics and appliance parts assembly (light components).
- Bonding low surface energy (LSE) plastics like polypropylene when good adhesion is required.
Because it’s thin and conformable, it’s also suitable for die-cut components, foam gasketing, and lamination processes.
