Handling & Safety
Preparation & Application
- Thoroughly clean and dry glass and channel surfaces—remove dirt, oil, grease, rust .
- Optionally prime metal channels: use acid-etch primer followed by epoxy or urethane primer
- Dispense equal amounts of both parts using a compatible mixer nozzle and applicator gun (e.g., 3M 08190 gun + 38191 nozzle)
- Apply adhesive, assemble glass within ~3 minutes, clamp or tape in place.
- Allow ~1 hour clamp time before driving. Full performance achieved in ~24 hours
Clean‑up
- Wipe uncured adhesive with a suitable solvent (e.g., VOC-compliant cleaner)
Storage
- Keep sealed, store at 18–25 °C (65–80 °F). Avoid extreme heat or freezing.
Safety
- Use in well-ventilated areas.
- Wear gloves and eye protection.
- Avoid skin and eye contact.
