Description

A high-performance two‑component black epoxy adhesive designed specifically for automotive glass applications. Ideal for bonding both stationary and movable side glass into channels made of metal or plastic

Fast worklife: ~4–5 minutes, ideal for quick application 

Short clamp (drive‑away) time: ~1 hour at room temperature 

Full cure: ~24 hours under typical conditions

 Applications

Installing or repairing movable side windows in doors

Bonding stationary sidelites (quarter glass, vent windows)

Bonding glass-to-metal and glass-to-plastic channels

Ideal for automotive glass workshops—fast, secure bonding without lengthy downtime

Handling & Safety

Preparation & Application

 -  Thoroughly clean and dry glass and channel surfaces—remove dirt, oil, grease, rust .

 -  Optionally prime metal channels: use acid-etch primer followed by epoxy or urethane primer 

 -  Dispense equal amounts of both parts using a compatible mixer nozzle and applicator gun (e.g., 3M 08190 gun + 38191 nozzle) 

 -  Apply adhesive, assemble glass within ~3 minutes, clamp or tape in place.

 -  Allow ~1 hour clamp time before driving. Full performance achieved in ~24 hours 

Clean‑up

 -  Wipe uncured adhesive with a suitable solvent (e.g., VOC-compliant cleaner) 

Storage

 -  Keep sealed, store at 18–25 °C (65–80 °F). Avoid extreme heat or freezing.

Safety

 -  Use in well-ventilated areas.

 -  Wear gloves and eye protection.

 -  Avoid skin and eye contact.
