MOLYKOTE® 1292 is a fluorosilicone oil-based grease thickened with polyurea, engineered for long-lasting lubrication in metal-to-metal systems under slow to medium speeds and medium loads.

Typical properties: Whitish color; NLGI consistency grade 1–2; worked penetration between 280–340 mm/10; base oil viscosity ~495 cSt at 40 °C.

This grease is especially suitable for long-term lubrication in bearings, especially in centralized systems, for metal-to-metal sliding combinations across a wide temperature span..
Safety & Handling
Skin & Eye Irritation: May cause irritation; handle with care.
Sensitization: Can lead to allergic skin reactions.
First Aid: In case of eye contact—flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
Storage: Keep containers closed and stored in cool, well-ventilated areas. Avoid strong oxidizers.
Ventilation: General (room) ventilation is adequate for routine use; minimal PPE required (standard gloves and safety glasses). Only at elevated temperatures or aerosolized settings might additional precautions be necessary.
Stability: Chemically stable under normal conditions; combustion or toxic vapors may form when overheated (above ~149 °C).
