Cemedine 575
 
Cemedine 575 is a high-performance industrial adhesive made by the Japanese company Cemedine. It’s typically a solvent-based chloroprene rubber or polymer adhesive that bonds a wide variety of materials including rubber, metal, plastics, glass, leather, wood, and more.
 
 

Application
  • Adhesion between rubber and metal
  • Adhesion of foams such as foamed urethane and polyethylene (except for styrene)
  • Adhesion of glass wool and rock wool
  • Adhesion of boards and metallic plate
  • Adhesion of decorated panel and plywood
  • Adhesion of soft polyvinyl chloride product (only for nitrile rubber)

Hazards

Flammable: Contains organic solvents; vapors may ignite.

Health effects:

Vapors may cause dizziness, headache, or nausea if inhaled.

Skin and eye irritation possible on contact.

Environmental: Avoid release to drains or waterways.

 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Gloves: Chemical-resistant (e.g., nitrile).

Eye protection: Safety goggles or face shield.

Respiratory: Use with adequate ventilation; if ventilation is poor, use an appropriate organic-vapor respirator.

Clothing: Protective workwear to avoid skin contact.


Handling & Use

Use only in well-ventilated areas.

First Aid Measures

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.

Spill & Disposal
