ThreeBond TB1212

 ThreeBond TB1212 is a high-performance, single-component, solvent-free, and non-acid RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) silicone liquid gasket. It cures upon exposure to air moisture, forming a durable, rubber-like seal. This product is designed for applications requiring resistance to heat, oil, and vibration, making it ideal for automotive and industrial sealing tasks.​

 Wide Temperature Resistance : Maintains elasticity from -60°C to 250°C. ​

 Solvent-Free and Minimal Shrinkage : Ensures a stable seal without significant volume loss. ​

 Excellent Chemical Resistance : Resistant to engine oil, gasoline, and other automotive fluids. ​

 Non-Corrosive : Will not corrode metals or most plastics. ​

 High Viscosity and Non-Sagging : Allows for easy application on vertical or overhead surfaces. ​

 Fast Curing : Tack-free in approximately 7 minutes at room temperature. ​

 Excellent Adhesion : Adheres well even to slightly contaminated surfaces. ​

Applications

ThreeBond TB1212 is suitable for a variety of sealing applications, including:​

 * Sealing flange surfaces in engines and transmissions.​

 * Sealing screw threads of stainless steel pipes.​

 * Gasket dressing in combination with solid sheet gaskets.​

 * Sealing gaps in turbines and other high-temperature equipment. ​


 


Safety and Handling


Handling Precautions:

 * Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, dirt, and old gasket material.​

 * Apply a uniform continuous bead to the sealing surface and assemble parts within 5 minutes.​

 * Avoid breathing fumes and repeated or prolonged skin contact.​

 * Use gloves or barrier creams to prevent skin contact.​

 * Keep out of reach of children. ​


Storage Recommendations:

 * Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.​

 * Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use.​


First Aid Measures:

 * Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.​

 * Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. If irritation continues, consult a doctor.​

 * Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.​

 * Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting; seek immediate medical attention. ​
